The Noodle Memories (古月面) is a noodle stall located on the 2nd storey of Hong Lim Market & Food Centre, Chinatown. It has been serving Malaysia-style noodle dishes using their own handmade noodle for over 30 years and started their business in Hong Lim Food Centre in 2022.
Apart from the stall’s signature dry / soup noodle dishes (古月面干/汤), there are dry chilli noodle (古月干辣椒面), vegetarian noodle (古月素食面), zhajiang noodle (古月炸酱面), mala soup noodle (古月麻辣面), kimchi noodle (古月泡菜面), chicken cutlet noodles (古月鸡扒面) and Specialty Jumbo Noodle (古月全满面). All ingredients are also available as add-ons.
Their Specialty Chicken Cutlet Noodle (古月鸡扒面) is served with battered chicken cutlet, fried beancurd skin and a poached egg on thick noodle and garnished with fried shallots and crispy fried chilli bits (if opted for spicy). The handmade noodle is tossed in savoury sauce and the tender chicken cutlet is tasty and crispy. It is a filling dish.
There are more noodle dishes to go for at The Noodle Memories and they should be as tasty as the chicken cutlet noodle.
