Long Sen Hokkien Prawn Mee & Fried Carrot Cake (朗胜福建虾面.菜头粿) is a hawker stall located in Sin Huat Lee Restaurant (新发利美食中心), a coffee shop, near to Bukit Gombak MRT Station in Bukit Batok. The stall serves fried Hokkien mee, white / black carrot cake and fried kway teow. There is also beansprouts with fresh cockles as side dish.

The Fried Hokkien Mee (炒福建面) is stir-fried using yellow noodle and thick rice vermicelli with prawns, slices of fish cake, scrambled egg and beansprouts. Some lime juice and sambal chilli add extra flavours to the savoury gravy that makes the noodle dish delicious. Long Sen’s sambal chilli is spicy and tasty and a must to go with the Hokkien mee.

Long Sen's fried carrot cake seems delicious too. I will try both the white and black version in subsequent visits to the stall. And not forgetting the fried kway teow too.
