Li Xing Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee (利兴炒福建虾面) in Bukit Timah Food Centre sells fried Hokkien prawn mee as its signature dish. The stall serves another variant of its Hokkien prawn mee with the addition of scallop. There is no pork nor pork lard.

The Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee (炒福建虾面) uses white vermicelli and yellow noodle of same thickness to stir-fried with squids, prawns, eggs, beansprouts and spring onions — my first time eating Hokkien mee with spring onions. The noodle dish uses lesser salt, not too wet and has spring onion flavour. With sambal chilli and some drops of lime juice, the light-tasting dish is pleasantly flavourful.

I will go for Li Xing's Hokkien mee with scallop on next visit.
