Singapore Eat: Beauty World Wanton Noodle (美世界云吞面) @ Beauty World

Beauty World Wanton Noodle (美世界云吞面), as named, is undoubtedly a stall selling wanton noodle in Beauty World Food Centre.

Beauty World Wanton Noodle (美世界云吞面)

Other than classic wanton noodle (经典云吞面), the stall has its own signature wanton noodle (招牌云吞面) — both dry and soup versions available — with more ingredients. There are other variants of noodle, such as two treasures noodle (双宝面), stuffed meatball noodle (包心猪肉丸面) and chicken cutlet wanton noodle (炸鸡排云吞面), and side dishes too.

Beauty World Wanton Noodle (美世界云吞面): Menu

The dry-style signature wanton noodle has springy egg noodle tossed in just-enough sauce. The noodle is topped with slices of lean char siew (barbecue pork), minced meat with mushrooms, two fried wantons (meat dumplings) and vegetable. Two pieces of lightly-seasoned wantons are in a bowl of light-peppery clear soup. The noodle is also flavoured by the sweet-savoury minced meat-mushroom. A tasty noodle dish.

The signature kway teow soup (招牌粿条汤) is a new item that is not on the menu. It is a bowl of flat, thin kway teow noodle in clear soup and topped with slices of lean char siew, minced meat with mushroom, vegetable and three pieces of meat dumplings. Similarly, the noodle soup is flavoured by the sweet-savoury minced meat-mushroom and not too strong-tasting.

The Kuala Lumpur Kolo Mee (吉隆坡干捞面) has thin egg noodle dry-tossed in a dark sauce and topped with char siew and minced meat-mushroom. This looks similar to the signature wanton noodle without any wantons and the use of dark sauce to toss the noodle.

The other noodle dishes of Beauty World Wanton Noodle look interesting too. Will give them all a try.
