En Cakes & Pastries is a cake shop located in Block 451 in Bukit Batok West. The shop is known for its bespoke cakes. Most of their cakes have low sweetness level.
Most of En's single-serving cakes, such as tiramisu, fruit cakes, etc, are laid in respective containers and easy to buy and take-away. Whole cakes are also available off-the-shelf.
En's Tiramisu is laced with small amount of alcohol which keeps the cream soft even after being chilled. The tiramisu is fluffy with chocolate taste, mild-sweet and with slight hint of alcohol. This is really nice as a dessert.
The Dark Chocolate cake is creamy and topped with dark chocolate, crunchy small beads, waffle, cookie, and sprinkled with cocoa powder. As a dark-chocolaty dessert, it has rich bitter-chocolate flavour and very low sweetness level.
En's cakes are low in sweetness and great as dessert. I will find an opportunity to try their bespoke cake someday.
