Lung Ann Refreshments (隆安茶室) is probably the oldest kopitiam in Melaka Old Town and is located at the junction between Lorong Hang Jebat and Jalan Kampung Kuli — not far from Jonker Walk.
Lung Ann Refreshments has been selling Hainanese traditional breakfast since 1938. It is the place to go for old-taste traditional butter-kaya toasts and Malacca's traditional kopi.
Going for a set of traditional kopi, butter-kaya toasts and two soft-boiled eggs is usual fare at Lung Ann's stall. The toasts are grilled with balanced softness and crispiness.
The coffee shop used to have other stalls selling great-tasting satays and curry mee but are vacant at the point of writing of this post.
