Located at one end of Kuala Lumpur's popular Chinatown food street, at the intersection between Jalan Sultan and Jalan Hang Jebat, is a shophouse unit with a prominent sign that says "Chinatown Hostel". On closer look, the unit has a cafe on the ground floor named "Leaf & Co.". A stairway beside the cafe leads to the hostel on the second level.
Photos of food and beverages pasted outside Leaf & Co. Cafe show that the cafe has a ton of things to offer.

The cafe is housed in an old pre-war structure that is long and rectangular with an open courtyard in the middle section. It has the vibe of an old rustic house with cozy lightings.

Leaf & Co. serves a very wide range of dishes, including western, rice, pasta, salads, sandwiches, light bites, etc — probably having the most menu items that I have seen in any Malaysia cafe. The list of beverages is pretty long too with several unique and new creations, such as donut frappes and matcha soy with red beans.

The coconut latte is an iced coffee with both milk and coconut milk. A nice coffee to have on hot days with a tropical flavour.

The hot roasted hazelnut latte has a very nice aroma and nice taste — I wish they have an option without milk too.

For light bite, the 6-pcs chicken satay seems to be deep-fried than grilled. The long meat is tender and is tasty with crispy outer coating. The peanut-based satay gravy is probably homemade, not very spicy and complements the satays very nicely. The dish is a great option for tea-time too other than pastries.

There are still a lot of stuffs at Leaf & Co. that I have not tried yet. And their donut frappe and new "matcha soy with red bean" drink seems interesting too.
