Three Kings Boat Noodle, located near the Three Kings Monument in Chiang Mai Old City, is just two units from Lim Lao Ngow Fishball Noodle. On initial glance, the restaurant appears to be a Japanese restaurant but its name "Three Kings Boat Noodle" emphasises boat noodle, a popular Thai noodle dish, as its signature dishes and presented in Japanese style.
The small restaurant is air-conditioned, clean and cozy. It has the vibes of dining in a traditional Japanese eatery with polite and very friendly staff.
The main ingredients of Three Kings Boat Noodle are beef and pork and their signature dishes are beef / pork boat noodle with different parts and preparation methods of the meat. There are hot pots with beef / pork, local-popular khao soi dishes (curry noodle) with braised beef / pork and other side dishes too. The fruity series of tea / soda / juice / ice-cream are under the K.Ori brand.
The Boat Noodle with Braised Beef Shank is a tasty soup noodle dish with slices of tender beef shank on sen lek (narrow-flat rice vermicelli). A number of herbs and spices are used as garnishes to spice up the already-tasty dish and making it more flavourful. This is one delicious Thai dish not to miss.
The Boiled Pork Set is served with a great selection of boiled braised pork, pig livers, slices of fresh pork shabu-shabu and meatballs on bed of bean sprouts and without noodle. The meat-only dish is accompanied by a sweet-sour-spicy Thai dipping sauce. This is similar for Boiled Beef Set too. These meaty dishes can serve as side dishes or as main dishes without carbs.
Enjoying tasty beef and pork noodle dishes in Three Kings Boat Noodle is a wonderful experience in a nice Japanese setting. And wonderful staff too.
