Lim Lao Ngow's noodle dishes are prepared at a stall outside the 2-unit shop for better ventilation. On the walls of the eatery are red-coloured Michelin plaques highlighting their quality and standard since 2018.

Lim Lao Ngow's signature fishball noodle is available in soup or as dry-style and the latter is highly recommended with their special egg noodle — from a selection of 5 types of noodle. Other than clear soup for the fishball noodle, there are spicy yen ta fo (Thai pink soup) and tom yum soups too. Wonton (pork dumplings) noodle, wonton soup, stir-fried vegetables and other sides are also available.

The Dried Special Egg Noodle dish is the highly-recommended combination of fish-made ingredients with their self-made egg noodle. The springy egg noodle is tossed in Chinese black vinegar sauce and topped with fishballs, fishcakes and fish dumplings. Garnished with spring onions and fried shallots, the vinegar-tossed noodle dish is delightful and fragrant. Really delicious.

Lim Lao Ngow's dry-style wonton noodle is literally meat dumplings with egg noodle without barbecue pork slices that are expected in a typical "wonton noodle" dish, but there are more meat dumplings. The fresh dumplings and springy egg noodle, tossed in seafood sauce, are well-cooked and delicious too.

When having dry-style noodle dishes, especially dry fishball noodle. there will be no soups. Thus, a bowl of wonton soup with just meat dumplings and no noodles is perfect to complement the noodle and with more meat.

The Fried Shrimp Balls are tasty sides to go for in addition to the noodle dishes. With this dish, one will be enjoying fish, pork and prawn in one meal.
