Located in Batu Pahat's Glutton Street, along Jalan Pengkai, is another nameless stall selling curry laksa (啦沙) and prawn mee (虾面). Netizens who have ate the food at the stall gave it a name called "Batu Pahat Laksa".
The dry-style prawn mee is served with fresh crunchy prawns and savoury fish fu chuk (fried beancurd skin stuffed with fish paste) on yellow noodle tossed in dark sauce. It is a nice and satisfying noodle dish.
I will try its curry laksa and prawn noodle soup on subsequent visits.
