Pontian District (笨珍), in the state of Johor, Malaysia, and to the west of Johor Bahru is about 1.5 hours by public transport from Johor Bahru. The district is known for its numerous plantations, farms and also Kukup Fishing Village. Pekan Nanas, the "Pineapple Town", is also located in Pontian District.

Other than visiting Kukup Village for fresh seafood, several farms and plantations in Pontian are opened to public and offer educational tours too. The town centre around Pontian Kechil and Pekan Nanas are also peaceful towns to explore.
