Malacca (马六甲) is a well-known tourist destination for its history and Peranakan culture. It has an old town, known as Melaka Old Town, with well-preserved architectures and a food haven filled with rustic cafes, restaurants and kopitiams serving traditional Chinese dishes as well as Malaysian delights. A night market is held every weekend along Jonker Street in the old town.
