Batu Pahat (峇株巴辖) is a district in the state of Johor, Malaysia, and encompasses the better-known towns of Yong Peng and Ayer Hitam. Batu Pahat town is about 3 hours by public transport from Johor Bahru.

Batu Pahat has not much to offer for sightseeing but it is a haven for traditional food and pastries of various ethnicity. With several coffee plantations within its district, Batu Pahat is one of several joints in Johor to go for home-grown large-seed Liberica, also known as "elephant" beans locally.
